Maven (MVEN) announced it is making changes to its leadership as Sports Illustrated CEO Ross Levinsohn will replace Maven Founder James Heckman as CEO. Levinsohn is the former interim CEO of Yahoo and his experience includes leadership roles at Fox Interactive Media, HBO, Tribune, Guggenheim Digital Media and CBS Sportsline.
Heckman "will transition from his CEO role and will advise Levinsohn on key strategic and business development initiatives."
Maven also announced additional funding to help support media brands Sports Illustrated, TheStreet, History.com, Ski Magazine, Maxim and Biography.
